After multiple suggestions from my wife (perhaps demands), I got a RoadID bracelet to wear while I'm out so they know who's life insurance policy to cash in for emergencies ;). Got the type that uses code on the back so first responders can get a full set of info (including medical histories, supplements I take, etc) with a phone call to an 800#, or by checking the web with a PIN from the back. As I was filling out the information, noticed the they needed to add a couple of measuring units for medicines / supplements in order to be more comprehensive and precise. Sent along those suggestions at the end of the process to help out. Today, Voilą'! An e-mail extending my online information for 6 mths in appreciation for the feedback. Just nice to know some business appreciate their customers (and probably worth doing business with). And no, I get nothing for the endorsement...

Wow! I'll have to recheck their product. I have the old fashioned dog tag that will help them identify the body.

You mean your wife doesn't write her phone number on your forearm in texta before you go for a ride?

My wife and I both wear our Road I.D.'s when we ride, but since neither of us are on any medication, we don't use that feature. Good to know it's available, however.

We both ride double centuries, though I usually finish an hour plus before she does (yeah, she demands that I ride at my own pace and not wait for her), so the Road I.D.'s give both of us a bit of peace of mind should something unfortunate happen (well, you know, worse than a flat tire or dropped chain!).

I appreciate this post. In a world rife with news of people treating each other poorly, greed, and aggesssion, it's nice to hear of your experience. There are good people out there, and companies that do know how to act in a human way.

My wife and I got life insurance policies on each other. So now it's pretty much of a waiting game.

You're sure about that, right? Have you checked to see if she's increased yours lately??? :D
