can anyone tell me where the long fluted version of the single bolt SR seatpost fits into Campy's production timeline?
My searching hasn't netted any mention of the long flute version so far.

I'm no Campyphile but I think the first single bolt versions had longer flutes and a nicely polished chamfer around the top. I guess around 1980 +/-?

Thanks Otis. I found that the SR 1 bolt was first introduced in the 78 year-end catalogue supplement.

Anyone else have any idea what year the change was made from long flute to the short flute version?
