Love this thread theme. As a Maiden obsessive, I'd have to put Killers in the top 3 of their records, possibly even top 2. Piece of Mind will always be my favorite, as I find it to the most consistent throughout. Number of the Beast gets the acclaim, but I think it's high points are matched by its filler. Seventh Son is also very strong.
The only thing that would prevent Killers from being my #2 favorite Maiden disc is that fact that Live After Death kicks so much axe. Subtract points for not being a proper studio release, but it's still a great piece of music.
For about 20 minutes, I thought Matter of Life and Death was the heralded "return to form" that seems to get bandied about every time they put out a new album, but the spark has left them, in my opinion.
Still, I've read that Maiden is planning a tour for next year where all they're playing is stuff from Powerslave and earlier.

Oh yeah. I think I have Nature stuck in a Nakamichi 480 cassette deck. I've owned it that way for four years and I haven't gotten around to freeing it.

I've seen that Classic Album DVD. That series has a lot of GREAT editions, even for albums that I don't particularly like. However, the Maiden one was really boring. I love Maiden's music and have appreciated their musicianship for years, but they are not particularly exciting as rock stars.
