Well, after lurking for some weeks I figure it's time to register so I can start asking all the required newbie questions.

Well, not quite.

I am a life-long Seattle resident - born here in '62 - and have been bike commuting off and on for many years. My commute now is ~17 mi. one way from West Seattle to Greenlake. I have been a good boy the last couple years and have worked up to 2 or 3 days per week on the bike and for all riding a bit over 100 miles per week.

I currently have three bike; a 3 month old Trek 520 for the road, a 10 month old K2 Launch 4.0 (the double-boinger), and a 4 year old Kona Blast (1/2 boinger).

And so, without further ado, I raise my bottle of local brew  and it's off to the rest of the forums!

Favorite brew? Life is too short to restrict myself to one favorite!

My beer consumption is down to maybe a couple beers a week on the average and the local Thriftway has such a selection that it seems I rarely brink the same flavor twice.

Now it's time to rest up a bit, heading to Tolt with the double boinger bike in the morning.
