The back looks like a good deal to me.
I just got the front one, and it is good for what I want, but if you are looking for something big enough to hold a real trunk bag or panniers, or something else of that size, it would be too small.
I also bought the Nashbar bag to go with it from Nashbar (not received yet) and I basically bought the rack and bag instead of a handlebar bag... and for that purpose, it will do me well. For anything more demanding, it may be undersized. I will let you know once I receive the bag.
That is the Nashbar rack I have seen mentioned somewhere else, and it is a mini rack, not full sized. Which is good, as long as you realize it.

I actually have two of the front racks, Nashbar managed to send me an extra one without charging me for it... even marked it on the invoice as costing $0.00.
I got the bag designed for it too and use it to hold the cable and locks I use to tie my bike down, bungees, first-aid kit, stuff like that to free up the trunk back to be used to actually hold cargo items on occasion.
The front rack is big enough to set a six-pack on and wont take as much weight as a rear rack.

Just curious, but do you have a link to the mini front rack bag on the Nashbar site?
Thanks,

It would appear that it's no longer available on their site, I can't find it anywhere and using the search function turns up squat.
I got mine from Amazon.com but now all I can find is the bag (http://www.amazon.com/Nashbar-Front-Bag/dp/B000R2NSQO/ref=sr_1_3/102-6531260-6876964?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1193421650&sr=8-3) Nashbar made for the rack

Yeah, they screwed my order up too, shipped it a week late and gave me two racks when I only ordered one... Hell of a way to run a business.

They also have been having website problems all week. I used to order from both them and Performance (yes they are now one and the same) but have all but given up unless it is a really good deal or I can't find it elsewhere. I also quit choosing there quick shipping because it never got here when they said it would and it was a hassle getting a refund on the shipping.

I ordered mine through Amazon but Nashbar processed the order and flubbed it grandly... though I didn't pay for special shipping or anything it still shouldn't have taken them a week to process the order.
And I still have a spare rack here that I don't really need.
Can't really sell it to anyone since the shipping will cost more than the bloody thing is worth.
