Triathlon - Racing Flats

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Do any of you guys or gals use racing flats for the run of a triathlon?

I always did.
I'll add the caveat that I would recommend wearing the shoes you would wear for a stand alone running event of that distance and terrain.
For example, I wore training shoes for the run of a race in France that went up and down the rocky service roads of a ski station.
For reference, I would typically run the 10K portion of an olympic race in the 5:10 to 5:30 / mile range...

dang...amazing times! I consider +90sec on that a great 10k pace!
Sure, if you don't mind spending the extra cash, or if you are competitive enough to benefit from the difference.
Well you can get some flats for about $40...not too shabby I say. Mine were $60, but they are a little beefier than most flats.
I don't wearing racing flats, I wear water shoes which probably have less to them than a racing flat and I do alright in them.
