I was up in Wrightwood today. The morning seemed OK, but this afternoon there was a slight smell of smoke.

Driving to Solana Beach and back this morning, and also doing some errands this afternoon, it looks like the coast has definitely cleared out. I could see a wall of smoke out inland, meawhile I had gorgeous blue skies at the coast! So I plan to take the new bike out for the Tri Club ride tomorrow.

ding ding ding.......you win the prize! 3 houses down from Tracy Austin's parents (yes tennis Tracy).
Wow, what a trip!! We lived either 2 or 3 doors down from the Austin's, on the same side of the street (I can't remember the street address). They were a very friendly family, I think Tracy was still living at home, somewhere I have autographed tennis racket. I lived there during grade school, and then we moved down across from PBC. I'll have to drive by next time I'm in the area (my folks live up off of Basswood) and find out what the address is.

Check your private messages. Both neighbors on each side of me were landlords with tennants, until recently. One sold, the other is still a landlord tennant situtation. Unless your family grew up next door to me and your dad's name is Richard.

Brian, why don't you tell me when you have these plans. I don't need my century for this month, as I already did the MS150, but I'd have joined you. You're probably wondering who the hell is this? Well, we've rode a couple centuries together this year.

Sorry Mike. Anymore my plans are made at the absolute last minute. If I have a few free hours I get a ride in. I don't have any rides planed for November - January. Hit me up and let's see if we can make some thing work. I'm in Yosemite with my wife next weekend, but am good other than the holidays.
