hey, i did my first triathlon last year it was just a sprint, and also it was at the end of the season so only one. i really liked and i placed way above what i thought i would. anyway i was really hoping to get into maybe even a olympic size this year, im in the middle of swim season right now, and i don't really even now when the season starts. or when i should train, or how i should train, any help would be much obliged.
thanks up front for any positive input.

check this out: USAT calander (http://www.usatmembership.com/EventCalendar/). Pick some races near you and withing a time frame you are comfy with. Then, figure out your training. I am not doing another 'till May/June, but I am finally going for an international distance event, so my training will be very different this year.
you could also pick up some old issues of Triathlete mag and look for training tips. I have found that kind of inspiring and helpful...

Joe Friel's book is decent -- certainly a very pragmatic way of putting together a programme.
