Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone ever use one of these? Do they work or does the ice get broken into little pieces when you try to get it out of the tray?

Hard to tell but looks like there are caps on the end and their cylinders look intact in the picture. I always balked at the price. I find that if I put the bag
about 30-40% full in the freezer on a slant with the bottom higher then a little warm water is enough to loosen the ice and open the drink tube. Bag is then filled with cool water and the big chunk of ice lasts about two hours. A bit of experimentation will optimise the positioning of the bag in the freezer. Make sure the drink tube draws water before you leave! Steve
