Mountain Biking - Tempting! VERY Tempting! Shiver SC.

Man, Jenson has the Shiver SC on closeout for $370! I don't "need" it, but I "want" it! However, with the amount of riding I've been doing lately (hardly NONE), I think I'll have to pass. But, if they drop the price on the Z150, or a Z1 FR QR 20 Pro, I may be forced to buy one!

POOP!!!! it's just POOP!! Don't get me wrong, I like marz stuff especially the Z1 but man after I rode that sc shiver I ran as far away from it as I could! That thing felt like a noodle that had been soaking in water for a month!! Flimsy piece of poo .. .that's what I say! IF you buy something go with any of the Z1's

Just my opinion....for what that's worth.

Been good man! How about you? Not riding much huh? Same here. Gonna get out for the weekend and do some riding finally.

I got a job offer from a shop in Colorado to come work for them, but the pay is horrible and no health benafits. So I'm still pondering it, ya know I don't know how I'd make ends meet on the pay, but at least I'd be out west!

I bet you are having tons of fun at home...haha (wink wink)

I have heard that people like that SC shiver, but everyone I have talked to says yes it is flexy but after a while you don't notice... so hey, why not right? ;)

Yeah, I saw that fork a while back, but I think there's a reason it's been discontinued. Hard to pass up, though...


They also have the Dorado SC for like 500 bucks too.

It hasn't been discontinued.

I would grab it up. A little flexier than a regular qr20 with an arch but its a 50/50 thing. Some riders love it and some hate it. At that price it might be worth a try :)

We are just lazy :)...just wait till you move here. All you will do is ride and board. You won't have time to be really awake all the time :)

Well not with that a2psyklnut he's kinda wierd..... you know those florida people.... and he rides and intense, so how good of a rider can he really be? Trying to impress us with that bike... PAA... (we all know he's compensating for the lack of riding skills) But anyone else would be fine. :p

It's not discontinued, it had a change of decals.
