the fact that they allow this idiot to spew in the city paper speaks volumes. clueless dodger indeed. as bad as the US AM talk show yahoos. I couldn't stomach it long enough to find your comment, sorry.
I don't blame you. The level of ignorance on display there is simply astonishing. My comments are at the bottom of the page if you want to bypass most of the drivel.
Ah, so they are really all discussing your riding habits, a bit more interesting, that
;)
Well lets hope that guy wrecks his car and dies four days later from his horrifying wounds.
"grams of carbon" hehe.... more like a pound or two per mile... I'd say the writer sounds quite defensive, and likely you made him feel guilty about his carboniferous ways..
@the op: Very good job in defending yourself and cyclists in general.
Around here most of the roads where motorist complain about cyclists are roads where a motor vehicle only path (expressway) exists nearby, maybe the world would be a better place if people were less selfish and stuck there own kind of dedicated path.
According to the EPA an average motor vehicle produces 0.98 pounds of CO2 per mile or over 6 tons a year, or about 6 million grams.
