good morning all. i need help gathering information on a bike my nephew recently bought from a neighbor. unfortanetly the neighbor moved out of state and we have no way of contacting her to ask her more about the bike. i've google'd it and didnt find much at all. it has a small sticker on the seat post tube that reads "Viceroy Cycles Poole.." which turns out to be a cycle shop in UK. im assuming its a small shop since they have no website or email adress. im hoping someone here can give me more info on the bike..like maybe the model and what year it's from? i gave the frame a good look while i was cleaning it and found no markings. the only markings the rims have is the size (18x1.75). hubs have no markings. here are two pictures of the bike. any info at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your help.

Is this a folder?
Viceroy was a maker of folding bicycles.

nope, not a folding bike. only info i could get on the bike is that it's made..or comes from..a shop in UK. the place is called Viceroy Cycles which is in Poole. they have no email adress or website. i posted this thread here before trying to get in contact with the shop..in the hopes that maybe someone here would have some info on the bike (saving me the trouble of trying to place a call to the UK).
you're the only reply ive had to this thread since i posted it more than a week ago...so im guessing no one here can help me with it. thanks for replying.

No help here- all I could find was the shop/importer you mentioned. But now I do know that, given my name, I need one of these...

You could try putting a post about this in the UK regional forum, too. There may be someone in Poole who may be able to help. Alternatively, member Sammyboy is located in Southampton, which is not terribly far from Poole, so you might want to contact him.

@mikepoole..lol.
@easthill....i did actually post a thread about the bike a couple of days ago in a bike forum from the UK. ive already gotten some replys..and they seem to know as much about the bike as i do..hahaha. one guy tried calling the shop and says the number is disconnected. im guessing maybe the shop has closed down. its only beena few days since i posted in the UK forums so ill give it a few more days and maybe someone will come along with the info i need. ill send sammyboy a message.
thank you all for your help. if i do happen to find the info im looking for..ill share the info for anyone interested.

Please do! You never know when someone else is going to ask about the very same thing--years from now someone could stumble on this thread :p !

Hey, I know this is an old thread, not sure if the OP is still here.
I don't have any info on your bike, but I have a folding Viceroy that looks very similar to yours. I posted a pic of it in the "Catch of the day / saved from the dump" thread here-

Have you found out any thing yet?
Scott.
