Why are the Euro. models all aluminum, titantium, carbon, and boron? They dont even offer steel models. What gives with that?

Perhaps they have determined that those materials are what sell enough to make it profitable. Why not write customer service at Bianchi and ask them?

The boron bikes are "boron steel", whatever the heck that means. That's what I've been told by the shop I'm getting the new bike from. I have no idea how boron factors into the equation, but they're steel. Actually, that was one of the frames I looked at last night when I was looking around for alternatives to the Orbea.
Edit: I'm making the VAST assumption that the materials they use in the US are the same as everywhere else. I think that's usually the case, but some companies have surprised me in the past.
Boron Steel is similar to any manganese alloyed steel, ie it is similar to NiVaCrom or 853 or EOM16.5
