I've got a raleigh m80 disc which I just bought from a friend, now I've been biking for a couple months but I have no clue when it comes to components. ANywhoo

I was riding on a trail today and it started to rain.... ALOT and me and my bike got very soaked. As soon as the rotors got wet they squeeled like mad. Is this normal? Or are they ill-adjusted/ need new pads. The only thing I could gather of what kind they are is "shimazo" or "shimaro" I can't remember.

Also, is their any websights that could help me with maintanence? Like how to change break pads, adjust shifters, etc? Thanks peoples
