Any PV group rides on Sunday??

Just curious if there are any weekly group rides in PV on Sundays? I've read about the Donut Ride that leaves from Riviera Village (I think), is this on Sat or Sun? The air in OC is still nasty today, I think I'm heading up to PV for about a four hour ride tomorrow. Thanks :)

The donut ride is on Saturday. They meet at the Starbucks and leave about eight. Check out the South Bay Wheelmen site for some other group rides in the area. I think there is one on Sunday that starts about 9 down by the pier, then goes up into the hills.

The air was pretty decent for the Saturday kids soccer games, both near Silver Spur Elementary and over near the Trump National Golf course. I didn't smell any smoke and the two asthmatics on the team ran just fine.

So I'm riding tomorrow morning. Probably stay along the coast.

We rode in PV today, and had good weather :)
Just a heads up (as Joy has mentioned), be sure to stop at all stop signs in PV! While at the cove getting ready for our ride, the donut ride passed, and proceeded to all run the stop sign.. first time I have seen an entire peloton get pulled over :eek:

Was in PV this morning too. But I saw a solo cyclist get pulled over in Redondo Beach. First time I've seen that. Normally, they wouldn't care.

I am not sure.. As they rolled the stop sign, the cop (whom was right behind them the whole time) flipped on the lights, and pulled them over.. By the time we got ready to roll, they were all gone.. We lag like that :lol:

Thanks everyone, the air here in Fountain Valley/HB seems to be improving. I'll probably ride local and stick to the coast, and have an extra 2 hours of ride time.

I can tell you Pat that the air there is 100% better than here.. As we returned home, it was very evident that we made the right call to head North ;)

I have seen it few times in Bay Area in a small town called Woodside. Local residents got pissy so cops were staking out stop signs for a month or so.
