Fifty Plus (50+) - Pictures of my ride today

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Inspired by all the pictures being posted lately, I thought I'd show you what riding in an urban environment, just after a fire, on a cloudy day, looks like. So I tucked the Canon A620 into my new wedge saddle bag, where it fit nicely, and mounted up.
Here is a shot of the wedding party standing in front of the fountain in Balboa Park:
Here is a shot of the folks preparing the Haunted Trails which is opening tonight:
Here is a shot of one of my favorite Victorian houses in (aptly named) Banker's Hill:
Here is a shot of the coffee place I stopped for a coffee and blueberry muffin:
All of these shots would have been immeasurably better had I remembered to put the recharged batteries BACK in the camera!:(

Right up till the last line, I thought you were getting a bit carried away with the white bike thing.

I was just about to swear because the server is playing up again.
Probably the best pictures you could have shown on the forum though.
Been waiting for shots of the devastaion to San Diego.

Not unlike the great Italian film director Carcisi Fotocelli, Digital Gee has once again stimulated our sad little imaginations with the anticipation of content followed by the revelation of nothingness.

There's an important scientific principle lurking here somewhere. I once drove for 30 minutes to go to a route that I had never traveled, free of the burdens of maps and cue sheets because I had downloaded the route on my Garmin 305. Except when I got there the battery was dead. So I biked anyway and got majorly lost.
How about this: the likilhood of a battery being charged is inversely proportional to the need for the piece of equipment to which the battery belongs.

DG, got any clue why I could not see your pictures? I am able to see the snapshot of Marrock's photo, but my 'puter did not show any of your photos. My OS is WinXP home edition.

It's the glare of his blasted white bike. You need to use the Eveready ESP operating system with the smoke filter option.

I think the breeze he felt was indeed stimulated by DG...but the origin was "south of the border!"
