I've got a Trek 7300 with disc brake mounts and a bike trailer that attaches with a clamp on the left chain stay. The chain stay is not really the right shape for the trailer clamp, so I want to bolt the trailer to the disc brake mount (I'm using v brakes). Does the disc brake mount have enough strength to handle this?
