Hi,

Hoping someone could help me identify/tell me how to identify the proper replacement cones for my Dahon (its a 6 speed Boardwalk).

The front hub is an "Assess SD00" (that SD-zero-zero). The rim is an HJC 20x150 w/28 spokes. The rear appears to be the same. I googled Assess SD00 and couldn't find anything useful other than it appears that Assess is a Taiwanese mfg'er. The Dahon's serial/id # is DS20000777 ... i think it is about a 2000 year model (which the ser# seems to indicate as well), but not sure.

Any help you can provide in identifying the proper cones would be greatly appreciated.

thanks, john c.

Do a Search. This was discussed a few months ago.

Call around and find a shop that has a Wheels Manufacturing Taiwan cone set(There is also a Shimano set). This will have the cones for just about every off brand cone out there. Bring in your old one for a match up.

Very suprising, made calls to the best shops in SF bay area, and the best answer I got was bring it in and match it up to what they have in a box (at about $5 each). Still have more to call, but the "match it up to what they have in the box" may be the best answer.

Thanks!!!, john c.
