Specifically, Kaiser to the Amtrak station. I see a zillion options but what's the best.
Also, how is riding on Vanden Road and Peabody road as far as traffic?
Thanks.
I've ridden Peabody from the Travis AFB area in Fairlfield to Vacaville with little to no problems but that's usually on a Sunday morning around 8-9am. Just be cautious around the on and off ramps near 80.
As for routes... you may want to PM Red Rider as she is familiar with the area. She set up Sunday's ride up in Vacaville so look for her contact info there or do a search for her.
good luck!

I haven't ridden these roads, but I drive them all the time. From Kaiser I'd take Leisure Town all the way to Vanden to Peabody. The section on Vanden is narrow and 55 mph, but with visibility. As long as it's not commute hours, it should be fine. Once on Peabody take Huntington to Walters or stay on Peabody to where it ends at Air Base Parkway then head up to Walters. Walters to 12-there's a parallel bike path, then cut across 12 at Marina to get to downtown Suisun. That's the direct way.
I'd avoid Peabody between Alamo and Vanden because of more traffic and that the lane is pretty narrow.
