I inadvertently ended up only taking "comedy" photos of you during your race ... so unless I cropped your head out of the shot there was no saving and of them. Next week I'll Photoshop lasers shooting out of your ass or something. ;)

Our first 'cross race is Sunday, in Chicago (somewhere).

I have to work for the local Wed night series. Major bummage. But I should be able to get three Missoula races in at least, and hopefully some out of towners.

I'll try and borrow a camera for tomorrow's practice. Tonight's left my legs really sore. I forgot how fun this stuff is!

speaking of the "underground stuff," do you happen to know when/where the DFL series is taking place? i used to have a good source for intel last yr but it dried up. now i only hear about them after the fact when ppl post all their pics on flickr, and i sit around wishing i were there.

Yeah, I raced. I did well my first couple of laps, but then my cold caught up to me. I'm feeling a lot better this week, probably 90%. We'll see if my lungs can keep up with my legs this go around. Come say hi at Ed Sander, there will be a beer in the cooler for you.

right on. lilypons is a great venue and with the ground saturated from this rain it will be even better.

note: i don't drink, so don't return the favor. i will just have beers because i'm a nice guy like that. see you sunday. also, i don't think i know your real name, so don't be surprised if i just call you 'hey' or '[colour] jersey' for a few weeks. sorry - i'm not awesome at names sometimes.

I did a short track race this summer whee someone mentioned at the start line that he felt like chilling int he back with the beer drinkers during the race. I thought it was a pretty good attitude for ammature racing.

Also a good example of our lack of spectators.. :) not sure what sort of crowds are at the smaller (ie. not Gloucester/RI/Portland/etc) races you guys go to.
