Looking for some help here.

I'm currently in the midst of shopping for an indoor trainer for the winter. I have a 2007 Kona Jake the Snake.

I've read that some trainers can chew up your tire pretty good and leave rubber flecks all over the room.

My question is this :

Would a cyclocross tire be okay to use with a trainer, or would I need to put on a slick? I'm currently riding Maxxis Locust CX.

Would there be any probs leaving those tires on?

Thanks.

NO do not use knoobies on a trainer, you will drive yourself iinsane then thump and bump and make all sorts of strange sounds. Plus the vibrate. Put on a cheap slick.
