search tips

Does the search feature support modifiers like AND or NOT maybe + or -? Looking for an easier way to search for exact phrases or filter results. If it does support modifiers, maybe a search tip sticky could be created or a link to advanced search tips could be provided on the search page. Apologies if this info is already out there and I missed it.

Go to google - example might be -

site:bikeforums.net "trek 830" OR clipless

I'm not really sure what logic Google supports, however. It does not seem to work with NOT??

was hoping for something in-house :( normally use meta type search engines. been online for years and have used google maybe dozen times or less. using the advanced search feature: exact phrases are in quotes and words to exclude are preceded with a - will have to check out other advanced search features.
