When I was there in the Schanzenviertel their football team banner was the jolly roger and they were sponsored by Jack Daniels. The hooligans had radio equipped generals, practiced maneuvers and specialized fighting sub groups.

When I got home I loved seeing all the middle aged, middle class tubby dads in Oakland wearing all black and thinking they were part of the toughest brigade in the world.

After 8 years, I got out of the industry last year. It was tough to let go, but it really had just become a regular job, and I had some friction on my team that I wasn't enjoying.

I've been working in the industry for 2 years now. While I do feel it's a job, it's still a job where my day doesn't have to start until noon.
