Ok... enough with the sarcasm.
I am new to bikeforums.net and will be looking for some helpful information on equipment. I am a seasoned mountain biker but recently purchase a road bike for commuting and occasional rides like the Snowbird Hill Climb in SLC, Utah. My biggest questions right now are dealing with the pedals I have which are Dura Ace PD-7800. I am debating the float-or-fixed question.
I am hesitant to go fixed due to the fact that my right leg is twisted between my knee and foot so my knee does does not bend the same 90 degree direction as my right foot/ankle.
In my quick observations it seems to me that the float option would increase the wear of the silly plastic pedal cover on them as this is the point that the cleat would pivot on.
Anyway, I am sure I will have more questions.
