Decided to skip the train tonight and hoof it home. I see they have closed the WRC trail just north of 635 for whatever reason. Is it because of the encroaching creek? Any plans to open it back up? I jumped the yellow tape looking for a way through. Wasn't about to pedal the access road in the wrong direction to find a way home. Couldn't find a way through so I ended up going up the side of the access in the grass for about 1/4 mile.

I can imagine they'll go ahead and leave it this way, dilapidated, for a few years. Who gives a 5hit about the people who actually ride their bikes to work and use that trail. Cars are king in Am3riKa

I think they're working on the parks up there, re-routing the bike trail or something- I gather it's supposed to be closed up there for a while. I've parked at the parks just south of 635 and ridden down from there.

I get on the trail at that park you're talking about and go north to get home. I know there are several commuters that come in from the north on Meandering Way, then get on that trail. Not sure what they're all doing now. They don't make it easy on us.

They are working on that last segment of the trail from 625 to Valley View park.

When going northbound, I just sprint down the 635 access road to Hillcrest, take a right, then another right on Valley View Ln, and a right on Peyton.

Southbound, I take Meandering Way all the way to the 635 access road and take a left onto the bike trail.
