Bicycles themselves have been used as bombs for a long time, by building bombs right inside the tubes or tires, in Israel/West Bank.

I was told that in some places popular with pedestrians, you have to lock your bike up where you can keep an eye on it because if the police start eyeballing it you have to go out and demonstrate that it is yours, or else they call in a team to blow it up--suspecting it is booby-trapped.
