i'm new to the whole mountain bike/trail riding scence so, i wondered if any or anyone kind of organizes group rides to any of the local parks in md like patapsco or rosaryville?... my saturday & sunday mornings are good for rides...

so, if there's a group that usually rides out these days and can show a newbie the trails (cause, i haven't been out there yet) and doesn't mind a quite slower pace from your normal.... please let me know...

PPTC and the Oxon Hill Club both do rides in that area.
Mostly on roads, but they also do some multi-use trail and off road.

I'm not sure who has mtb rides, but I'm sure that there are some around. Try asking at some of the stores like REI or HTO.
