Just in case anyone was thinking about riding at Mountwood Park
near Parkersburg, WV, please note the trails have been closed to
Hikers and Bikers, Monday through Saturday from Nov. 1st till Dec.
31st. for some sort of controlled deer hunt. Originally, last week they
closed the trails totally, however a few phone calls got us at least
Sundays. Hikers and Bikers will be permitted to use the trails on
Sundays since it is illegal to hunt on Sundays in this County.
The River Valley Mountain Bike Association has attempted to keep our Wednesday evening rides going, however we still have no word on
that at this time. So until further notice, the Wednesday rides will
be suspended after the October 31st ride. :mad:
