View Full Version : New 2008 Dahons
It looks like Dahon released info about new 2008 models at Interbike.
This Interbike PDF (http://www.interbike.com/ib/photos/stylus/10069.pdf) has the access info for Dahon's press materials, which descriptions of the new:
Cadenza 8
Cadenza Solo
Mu P24
Ciao P8
I'd download while you can, as I'm not sure how long it will be before the powers-that-be change the username and password.
So what do folks think? The Ciao is gorgeous, but it's pretty darn heavy. I hope they're still revising the Curve line.

Are you sure that the Speed P8 and Curve SL pictured here are the 2008 models and not the 2007 models. If this is correct, then that means Dahon did not change the color for either of these models in 2008???
That japanese site, the Yahoo Store, does not have 08 pictures...
for example the Jetstream shown is very much the 07 model
08 looks very different.
PS. that metro model just looks "bent" to me. Banana bike! ;)

Has Dahon announced an 8 speed Curve SL? I couldn't find that.

The separable Hammerhead is hot.

You can see how Yan's folder influenced Dahon in making the Curve an 8 speed. LOL.
The folder that really caught my eye was the JetStream XP.. Dahon is really going with an aggressive duty suspension making me wonder how heavy is this bike??
I still want a Smooth Hound. Less problems to deal with.

Hmm-- I didn't see the Hammerhead. I like the Briza too, which looks like a more affordable Glide.
If I didn't already have a Swift, I'd also seriously consider the new Cadenza.

Actually, the poster on the original site called it a Hammerhead, but looking at it more closely, it's not a Hammerhead frame. This may be an updated Hammerhead for 2008 (or a future prototype), but I like the old frame style better.

Good to see that Dahon have made a separable mini-bike - this will hopefully make them more popular.
The XP is 11.7kgs - not bad given the specs.
The Kojak tyres on the XP look like slimmed down versions of the Greenspeed Scorcher...
