I'm going to be in Saratoga Springs, NY on Nov 6th and 7th and will be staying a few blocks from Congress Park (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=congress+park,+saratoga+springs,+ny&sll=43.081928,-73.781691&sspn=0.02238,0.044246&ie=UTF8&z=16&iwloc=addr&om=1). Can anyone point me to some 30 - 40 mile routes I can ride while there?

I'm looking to do some open road mileage, so get me out of town, away from stoplights and into the boondocks!

Any direction that is not Rt. 9 will probably do you fine. Down toward Saratoga Battlefield / Stillwater across the Hudson to Washington County would be a good ride.

Go here: www.pedaling.com and pick New York and Adirondacks or Capital District. There should be about 6 rides that are out and around Saratoga.
