I've always loved the look and feel for riding on aero wheelsets (when i borrowed my friends bike), so I'm looking for a set that

a.) can support my weight. 195 lbs
b.) costs around $1000 or less for the set
c.) at least 38mm dish depth

I rode on a set of Rolf Vigor's, and I now Rolf makes the Vigor's in a RS version, made for the heavier type. What other wheelsets are out that you can recommend?

At 195 I wouldn't be to worried about the weight, as long as they are well built it shouldn't be an issue.
I've got a set of old mavic cosmic carbones that are 45mm deep that I like, haven't had enough time on the to be sure. The newer carbon ones are going to be out of your price range but the aluminum versions should be right at a grand if I remember right.

Ksyrium SSC SL's are bombproof and reasonably aero if common.

They aren't close the OP's depth suggestion...but you're right that they are great wheels. I'm over 225# and have hardly had to touch my SL's.
