One great way to put bicycling in a good light is to ride your bike in a parade.
I just registered the Bicycle Advocacy of Central Arkansas to ride in the Big Jingle Jubilee Holiday Parade. Its our 3rd year. Its a lot of fun. No one tells you to get on the sidewalk. We enjoy being able to meander along highway doing donuts, figure 8s and large circles.
Get out your fun bikes.

Check with your local parade. Registration time for most Christmas parades is about now. I bet they will be happy to have you and you will have a blast. :D
