i tried both and it took me 2 hours to cut through them and i have to cut them more so what is a faster way?

Cutting through 4130 bars is tough with normal hand held tools. (Keeping it strait, ease of moving tool...) Pipe cutters work best if you use a lubricant on the interface between the bars and cutting wheel. It is also best if you have pipe cutters with a larger wheel on them. They don't dull so easily.

Cutting through 4130 bars is tough with normal hand held tools.
It takes about five minutes, unlubed, with a five-dollar pipe cutter I got at OSH. It's not tough at all.
