I had one mini Snicker's bar. The rest of them went to my one and only trick-or-treater last night:D
I'm determined to be pedaling less of me up the hills next spring!

Well, it's still late afternoon here, but I have eaten no candy and don't plan to, either.

Trick or treaters are way down this year. There will be a lot of candy in the house and my 7 year old doesn't eat chocolate - damn this is going to be hard...

Ok, I'll admit it. I've had a couple of packages of Twizzlers. I got Twizzlers, which I like, and Smarties, which I don't like, so the leftover Smarties are going to the office tomorrow.
I had more trick or treaters than usual tonight, but as soon as the first batch of teenagers showed up I shut off the light and walked the dogs.

None for me. I got away from work late and barely made it to choir rehearsal. Had some cottage cheese and mandarin oranges when I got home. I was, however, lusting after some candy corn!

1 dark chocolate Mounds -dark chocolate is the 'it" health food these days- and a li'l ol' bag o' Whoppers.
Never could say "No" to malted milk balls. Or coconut. Or dark chocolate. Hm... I thinkI see why I've only dropped 30-35 lbs in the past 18 months :(

Two mini Musketeers and two cookies (one strawberry and one pecan brown sugar). :)
I've never had a lust for candy, even as a kid I could take it or leave it. But in the past few years I've become addicted to dark chocolate.
It's my wife's fault, she's the one who keeps bringing it home for me.
Yeah, that's the ticket.

I bought a ginormous bag of candy from C*stco last week...had to test it. :D
We have about 1/4th the candy leftover; we had fewer kids this year than in previous years, and now we're stuck with dozens of tiny bars of second-rate chocolate and not enough nuts. Boo.
But yeah, I had a couple for dinner (urp). :o
That's why I'm riding tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, Sunday...until I take them to the homeless shelter.

Had to dip into the bag of Reese's products. We bought a bag of the stuff and only had 5 trick or treaters last night. The houses on each side of me don't turn their lights on, and the lots in the subdivision are of decent size, so I guess they don't figure the extra walk is worth it for one house. The houses across the street are set way back off of the road, so they don't bother to walk up the drive. Luckily(?) I can eat about anything I want and not gain weight (not so great for the cholesterol though!)

Last year I stocked up on candy, and I like giving candy that I like, not that stuff that I didn't like getting as a kid and ended up sitting in the bag until it ended up getting thrown out. :(
I even bought early so that I would be sure to get the good stuff... Then as Halloween approached, I realized that for some reason I had run out. :o
Then, I waited with a bowl of my favorite candy all night (in costume) eating a piece occasionally and not a single kid knocked on the door... So over the next few days I ate the second batch too. :o :o
So this year, I saved the calories, turned off the porch light and watched tv...
So, not me! :D

Update - I did break down and eat a home made elcair that my wife made. Darn those are good. She has rediscovered true cooking after a long time, and its a problem. Stuff she is fixing is soo good, and soo fattening. Don't know how I am going to find a balance

Just the one small dinner mint. I was too full from the beverages etc that are an obligatory part of a good hockey game.

Custard is only good when it is on pie. Better if on a ride- but Custard-Cold?

I had one piece of "double Bubble" that's it... of course, during the day, at work, we had a pot luck and I ate so much I was stuffed all night. And now there's candy all over the office... I must resist!

In my neck of the woods .......
"Frozen custard is a type of cold dessert similar to ice cream, made with eggs in addition to cream and sugar. It typically contains 10% butterfat and 1.4% egg yolk." Wikipedia
My all time favorite, gotta have it at least once a week, treat.

If thats Frozen Custard- I want it. Looks better than the Bar of Chocolate Marzipan I eat last night. Got it for my daughter who is not feeling very bright at present so I thought I would cheer her up- 2 Daughters and this is the one that likes Turkish Delight- So eat the Marzipan myself- and then we both finished off her box of Turkish Delight.

I bought a bag of Nestlé Crunch Crisp's (Fun Size) for any trick or treaters. The bag still sits on my desk, unopened. No one came. I'm not sure what to do with it now. Today, candy is the least valuable thing in this country.
I'm reminded why my Mom always used to give away lollipops. They lasted from year to year without spoilage.
