I was in my car at a light on 4th and Alameda one day when a guy comes out of nowhere screaming and tries to get into my car then gets in front of it before collapsing onto the ground while holding onto my front bumper. All the time he is screaming at me and hitting my car so hard that his hand is bleeding. I can't drive without running the guy over. I stay in the car and 911 it and as I am waiting someone comes over and picks the guy clean. I saw them take a crack pipe and a few bags out of his pockets. They guy was so strung out that it took 5 cops to get him off my car. The best part was when LAPD Metro just looked at me and seriously asked why I didn't just run the guy over.

not necessarily. if you feel comfortable that way then that's what you should wear. but it will be mostly dudes in cut off jeans with fixed gears and ironic mustaches.
