Jeff Lied to me last night. He forcasted no rain this morning, imagine my chagrin when about a mile into my commute it started to rain. Thats ok cause I had my rain pants in the trunk bag and was already wearing my Burley jacket and neoprene booties so it wasn't too bad at all actually kind of enjoyable. I don't care if it rains on the way home at all. When I get home I can take a nice hot shower.

No rain on me. Burien -> Downtown, just north of the waterfront @ 6 AM.
I did get rain overnight, though. The roads were wet.

Thanks EH I don't want anyone to think I'm on mind altering drugs or anything. I rode the Specialized today don't want to risk the Red Rider in the rain, besides I just got a different derailleur for it from a fellow forumite. Its a Suntour VG-t luxe I think thats it anyway it was supposed to be the top of its line for the time. It was really dirty but cleaned up far better than I expected. I took some Mothers to it and its pretty Skookum. Just need to get the adjustments right and get a piece of cable cut for it. Will post pictures when I get it installed.

I use to live on the westside of the state and I didn't mind being out in the ran. Now, living on the eastside of the state (NOT Bellvue) I've learned I don't have to ride in the rain. I can wait 5 minutes and it will be done.
A couple of years ago I was talking to a friend who lives n Seattle. We were talking about the rain. I said we had about 3/4" of rain for the month of January, he replied, "We got that much yesterday."
