I know.

I ride my bike past there (Gunn HS) on my commute home from work.

Very crazy that he could do that at 3:10 PM!

I'm not gonna read it 'cause stroies like that pisses me off. I'm pretty sure it was a high school girl riding her bike somewhere. I'm very glad she got away and do hope they catch the guy.

Strange that there weren't more witnesses at 3PM in the afternoon...

I think it's sad how motorist drove past for a while without calling the cops even though she was covered in blood. People really need to step up because in a situation like that, every moment counts and the guy could've grabbed her again. Bystander effect anyone?

"Cars flowed past the bleeding girl for a short while until a motorist finally stopped to help, calling 911."

WTF!?!

Incredible, life is worth some loose change.

******* should be castrated, that way they won't be offenders in the future. it'll also make potential offenders definitely think twice. anyone agree with me?

I mean a 10 year sentence for that is a little nuts. The kid ended up spending 5 years in jail.

She was locking her bike up where she lived, so she might not have been visible from the street. According to the Mercury News today, the guy that noticed her walking along bloody was actually stopped at a red light, and made eye contact with her.

**** is really a crime of violence and dominance more so than sexual. Once that person is castrated his violent and domineering personality would still be there. I believe the potential for this person to **** again would still there.

wrong.

I'm mean really, does it really matter why they do it? It's unexceptable and personally, I think castration is not enough.
