Hi,
I'm Han, a.k.a. Johanna... I live in Western Massachusetts, about 15 miles north of Amherst, with my husband, two cats, and a greyhound. I am a grant writer and Web technologist at a small nonprofit that works on improving access to health care.

I have recently purchased my first road bike after several years of riding a hybrid. I was having knee problems from running, and had to get more serious about cycling (and so glad I did!). I switched to a road bike so it would be lighter on trips longer than 10-20 miles and help take some strain off my knees (which are doing so much better...).

We just bought a house and I am pretty broke, so I got a Fuji Finest. I am pretty pleased with it, but I am still getting used to not riding upright, and still working to find a saddle that doesn't make me miserable. But I am sure I will post some more about my problems... I am really grateful that I found this forum!

Han

Hi,
the older posts are archived. You can find a number of saddle discussions in the Women's forum. Finding the right width is pretty important. I ride a WTB Speed V. It impressed me enough that I got a WTB Speed She Ti saddle for my Sis. She likes it a lot.
