Riding in Glendale Area ?

I am visiting a few friends next weekend and was planning to take my road bike for a little sanity. I have never been to the Metro PHX area. I am imagining most of the roads are newer with bike lanes but was hoping to get a few rolling hills to break things up.

I am looking to get in a couple of 2-3 hour rides but could use some suggestions on where to go ?.

Also what are the temps in the am this time of the year ?

Coming from SOCAL I am also looking foreward to some cleaner air ..

We're having beautiful warm weather right now. Swiss American Bikes has rides Tuesday night and Sunday morning. You can call the shop for some good routes. Also you can check out the routes at bullshifters.org.
