PM me if that doesn't work. I just checked it though and it came up for me.

I get a blank domain window, and when I shut it, what may* be the diabetes page opens up behind all my other windows. It's brown with just some general topics listed.

I'm getting all the pages, so whatever is going on is being worked on. I don't have any responses yet, though and likely won't until Monday.

OK, my email function for the TdC page is back up and running as well, I just emailed myself. Watch for a team email next.. It's likely to take some time to get the whole thing up and running again, nationally.

That was IT Support's doing....

All I did was make a couple phone calls and emails ;)

Thanks Tom!

You asked how it's going?...Tour de Cure Orlando is history and sure to be called a full success.

Weather was beautiful in the 70s most of the day, although there was a light mist in the AM, it was only enough to get glasses good and foggy, not enough to be a road hazard. The short group, a 15 mile ride did have to get delayed because there were some bulls out on the road, but I don't believe anyone had any real difficulties with them.

As with every charity ride I've ever done, the support and cheeriness of the volunteers make them well worth the work of the fundraisiing and any effort involved in doing the actual rides.

Until the next one - March 9th in Venice, FL - near Sarasota....

Hey team, I need to know, are you interested in setting up either a team jersey or T Shirt?

a bit under 16 weeks to the event, so we need to think about this. I have the graphic in a.svg file and ready to go to design phase, so if you're interested, chime in. Look for a TEAM EMAIL TO THIS EFFECT AS WELL. :d

I'll buy one if you make them, but I don't especially care one way or the other....

what does it look like?

Tom Stormcrowe

I just finished converting the image to a vector file, and will be pasting it in to the shirt image this evening. I'll have something up soon. This is going to be something just for us. :D

Is it at all possible to incorporate the TDC logo & the IMS logo somewhere on there, too?

Tom Stormcrowe
02-27-08, 07:12 AM
That, I'll have to get permission for.....especially the IMS logo. They (The Speedway) are really touchy  The Jersey for the 100 mile event finishers, as they stand now from the ADA will have that though.

If the timing worked out better for me, I'd offer to help. My sister has a "real" t-shirt press. But I won't have access to it in time for the race, I don't think.

Here's the Jersey or T Graphic in a JPEG, so there will be a small amount of artifact error in it vs The Vector file

What color t-shirt or jersey?

Tom Stormcrowe
02-27-08, 12:59 PM
Design so far.....this will run the neighborhood of $60.00, semicustom Jersey, the jersey price is contingent on size of the order, though.

Tee's will be aroung $15, at a guess....I haven't heard back from Brad yet.

The only thing about jerseys is that do they come in women's versions? I don't fit into guy's versions. But I'll support the effort, whatever it ends up being.

The Bike Shop Owner wants me to take some photos at The Track.
You would be a Good Model and maybe Solveg would take some pics?
I don't own a good camera.
What do you think?

My contribution - replace the text on the shoulders with the TDC logo, & the font on the pockets can be changed, too.

Tom Stormcrowe
02-27-08, 08:49 PM
If I stay with the single print sublimation like I have, it's $25-30.00 cheaper per jersey than going oversized print area on the back and extra printing on the shoulders and pockets.

I think you've got it there Tom - Looks Great!!!

Had to do pick up a new ride myself for riding a track like that...

http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii152/drew55/?action=view&current=017.jpg May have to swap out to drop bar with bold on aero - a lot of the rides down here just dont' like them.

I'm not sure what type of model I would make:)

I'm sure there will be plenty of cameras on the ride to get pictures for your LBS. I always carry my digital with me.

Of course, we'll need lots of team photos, too.

My vote is for box of water's version. Either way, I'll buy one. After what I spent on bikes this past year, a nice jersey won't be that bad.

No offence to Tom's work; this was not supposed to be a competition. Just an idea I've had for a while. I just needed the images to do it. I do have an alternative based on the design I had which would be inline for the constraints on the print size, if you would like.

02-29-08, 01:24 PM
I wasn't implying that it was a competition either. I just liked your layout. :)

Either way, we all win. :D

With the black stripes and the writing on yellow background it makes a nice looking jersey.
