Kind of a funky light blue green.

Nice shade of Green. Change your hair color to blond and everyone would want you to be a bike model.
Looks as I if don't need to bring any water. You have plenty for all. :D:D:D

That water may have to last up to 2.5 miles before completing a lap. :D

That was near my cabin, on my daily summer ride, which goes through a state park. It's very* pretty there.

A bike model *snort*

For some reason, I'm terrified of being without water. Besides those 3 water bottles, If I'm going more than 20 miles I also carry 3 bottles of gatorade with me in the panniers, as well as about 10 lbs of tools!

In the cities I don't, but if I'm in the middle of nowhere, I get nervous. And I drink a ton of water.

I am terrified about not being seen at night and have 12 reflectors, 8 lights and 10 pounds of Reflective tape on my Nite Bike. I have had to cars come to a complete stop just trying to figure out What they were seeing. For some reason your water bottles just stood out to me. I believe in being prepared for the long trips.
What do you carry for Protection from Mean Big Dogs?
I have been bitten 7 times. Ouch

So far, I have been able to stare them down. I speak dog very well, though. I stop the bike and tell them to go home..and they usually do. I've had some farm dogs not back off. Then I've gotten off my bike and done a walking/body blocking thing the get them to back off. I have no fear, though... if I was at all nervous it wouldn't work, so I don't recommend it to others. I should carry something, because I'm sure I'll one day meet a crazy dog.

The most persistent dog I ever met was a three-legged dog that didn't have use of its rear end. The owner sat on her porch calling her dog. I was afraid the dog would continue chasing me into the street, so I walked it all the way up the house. Ends up the little dog had been hit by a car before. Dumb owner.

Well, get that email campaign going....use your contacts. ;) Let's see how high we can run up the total. :D I'd like to take top team in fundraising, as well as having the most distance scattered team gathered. :D

We (The organizing committee) may be having a prize for the cyclist that traveled the furthest for the Indianapolis event as well, but that isn't set in stone yet.

No, there was a link where you could give yourself a custom web address for your donations page. I didn't want to use the same one for friends and family as I did for the web in general because my name is so unique. So now that I'm ready to put it in my sig line, I'd like to change it to something more generic.

I didn't realize you could do that. I just figured it out though. When you log into your tour center there is a link on the right side of the page that says "update personal URLs" click that and you can change it.

Hey Tom, any idea if family & friends will be allowed on the track? My brother is coming with me to video / take pictures & he has some ideas for some great shots, if he's able to get down there.

Have him sign up as a volunteer. ;) That would assure his access. Perhaps we can call him the Team Photographer as well. ;) I presume his images will be available to the whole team, right? :D I just shot email to Sierra to confirm though.

And here is the response from Sierra Vogt, Indiana Region MGR, in short, no problem at all!

No issues! Spectators are welcome! Our goal is to have enough activities going on to entertain them while their family members/friends are riding.

Thanks and hopefully we'll see you at our committee meeting on the 18th!

Awesome! This is going to turn out great! He will definately be available for group shots. If any of you have seen Lucas Brunelle's videos, that's the idea we have, just without the chaos. Teaser - one shot involves bricks & 700c tires...

Who is the videographer? Not me, I hope.

Actually, I just put up my "goddess" video NTSC color correction monitor on Craig's List. I figured NTSC will be a thing of the past soon, so I wanted to sell it before it was old technology.

Ends up a small town in MN is setting up a TV studio, and I'm selling them all* my equipment! mics, stands, tripods, etc. Everything!

With the money, I'm going to upgrade to a tiny* good quality HD camera and use it only for fun.
