Here is my dilemma-

I converted a target freewheel bike to a fixed gear. But the chainline sucks. Observe:

I would like to move the silver spacer thing to the other side of the axle and redish the wheel. Is this possible? Many thanks!

Should work. It won't be center dished but my MTB wheel is like that and it works fine.

You can. On a cheap wheel you need to check that the spokes are not sticking out of the nipples to far(On the tube side) If they are, you can grind them down to stop stube failures.

i have the same bike and i relaced a coaster brake hub into the rim using the same spokes....it should be easy to redish if you know how to do it...they dont stick thru at all
