So, about a year after clipping my helmet to my bag, walking in the door, shutting the door and crushing my helmet in the same smooth motion, I've done the same thing over again (This is why I buy cheap helmets). I just can't believe I did it again so quickly.

That's all.

That sucks. Some helmet manufacturers have a crash replacement discount. Will be funny to walk into the lbs and ask for it though. :D :p

Performance.com has a sale on Bell Alchera for $39.99. The in-store sale price is $59.99, so make sure that if you go to a retail store you have a printout of the on-line price. I just got mine last week.

Try something new. I started buying Rudy Project helmets after getting pissed off at Bell/Giro. I really like them.

I've got a weird shaped head. I just buy whatever fits well, but never spend over $100.

For some reason giro's used to fit me real well but some of the newer models I am between sizes.. I now use Limar and just love them.. They have a new model coming out this month that is under 200grams, the pro104..
