Hi,
this is the third day since the tour ended. I am starting to feel like riding, tho some soreness remains. The thing is, I seem to get tired easily. The last day, I snuck my bike into my motel room, carried it up 4 flights of stairs. Prob should have stopped for a breather. I felt a strain in my chest for hours; and it came back occasionally driving home. It's prob nothing, but I have been wondering about it.

The chest "discomfort" depending on what it felt like maybe nothing or was discomfort from the heart muscle not getting enough O2 but probably no long term effects if it went away quickly. If it felt like a pressure I'd be concerned. If it felt like a pulled muscle than it's probably a similar problem, although calling your doc isn't a bad idea. If you have a trainer I;d say do a 30-60 minute recovery spin. Pick a really easy gear.

Chest pain is a strange thing, 98% of chest pain is nothing of concern. If you are of an age: say 40+ for a male, have any family history of heart dz, have lipid or BP problems a consult may be in order. Smoking increases risk also.
The liklihood of heart cause is low, the sequelae of undiscovered heart dz can be horrendous. Steve
