Took a spin through the Malibu Canyon Fire area today. This ride is a kick in the pants for only being 38 miles, it wound up being around 4200 feet. Malibu Canyon is a fairly miserable ride with the traffic and headwinds. Otherwise it was a great day and a great route.

That's a great shot of the house on Piuma, Ron. It has always looked cool, perched out there all alone... now it's like a spectacular (if grim) oasis.

i was camping at malibu creek on friday night. there was alot of char around that area as well.
