hey Capitol, I like in Boston, well Southie, but close enough. I ride about 5-6 miles, just to get to work and then errands and stuff, I ride alot. I am using a Specialized Stumpjumper (MTB) right now, and building a Specialized Allez Sport!!!! But ride along the Charles, by the hat-shell.... it's amazing, the view, the girls... lol good luck

Do a google search for 'bicycle clubs, Boston, MA' and you should get a bunch of websites and clubs that will have ride info.
