Northeast - FG/SS LI Ride?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Any interest in a Long Island FG/SS ride? Maybe meet at 110 and the LIE on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Go west, some hills; go east, few hills; go north, lots of hills. Easy fun pace. Post your thoughts...

Not to sound dumb, especially to a fellow Dylan disciple but, what is FG/SS?

Tried to get a Dylan quote to support this but I am just too far gone...

I may want to do some riding that way after Thanksgiving. I'm in Forest Hills, and have learned the route out along the LIE this past summer and surprisingly it's a great ride. And, right now, my only working bike is the fixed. I'll keep checking back to see when it might be on.

When you are ready, post a date and we'll all try to get together.
How do you get around the Cross Island parkway obstacle?

The route posted above is 20. But that is just a suggestion. We can do whatever.

Not sure really....I ride out to Alley Pond along 73rd (I think), then go a big more, and it bends around to the Horace Harding, and that just keeps going along side the LIE for a long ways. I've been out nearly to as far as where your map route is. I've got company here for a week, but maybe next Sunday (25th), if all goes well, I could be up for a cold ride...
