Hi folks, this is my first post in this subforum, some of you might know me from touring.
I'm thinking about using my Garmin Edge on my next long distance tour, and I want to retain the files for each day's ride. Currently I download from the edge onto my pc using SportTracks. But I won't be taking the PC along on tour.
I recently got an HP iPAQ GPS/PDA, which has bluetooth and wireless, and an SD card.
I'm wondering if I can somehow download the garmin files into the pda. So far I've come up with ideas like a cable with a mini-usb on both ends, or a Bluetooth dongle for the garmin. And I guess there would have to be some software on the pda to allow it to ask the garmin for the files....
Anyone know anything to help me?
Also, if anyone knows how to make my Motorola Razr V3 / ATT Wireless phone act as a modem for the iPAQ, (and what I would have to set up with ATT to allow this) then I could get all my little toys to play with each other...
Thanks in advance!
