Yeah Pcad, just think, not only do you get to turn 50 this weekend, but in 7 weeks, you'll be 51.

Yeah, patentcad turns 50 on Friday and he probably has 12,000 miles on his bike already this year. 50 is not old at all.

Incorrect.
11,535 miles after today's ride. Whether you're 30 or you're 70, you work with what you got. At the end of the day I'd rather die of a coronary chasing some Cat 2 up Scratchup Road than on the couch watching the Jets lose with a bag of chips on my lap (even if they are Lays Sour Cream & Onion). I'd rather die with an endorphin buzz than Lays heartburn.
F the Jets. Go Giants. Unlike baseball where Mets fans hate the Yankees and vice versa, NY football fans cross-root for both teams. It's far too complicated for the average BF weenie to understand, and I can't explain it anyway. Suffice it to say that when the Jets play the Giants it's a problem. If they ever faced each other in the Super Bowl it would be like matter and anti-matter colliding and the universe might implode.

The Giant's are far too preoccupied hating the Cowboys. As long as you aren't a Cowboy, you are okay.

Fortunately, that's unlikely to happen in our lifetimes.

It'd be like a "Subway Series." Except there is no series in football and Jet's and Giant's fans can get along ok ... so I guess it would be nothing like a "Subway Series." S***, I can't even remember where I was going with this.

Well, now that the subject has changed to Giants football (vs. any other kind of football) I'll add that I have never been and never will be a Jets fan. My father is a Giants fan, I am a Giants fan, and my youngest son is a Giants fan (my eldest doesn't care about any football). That's three generations of Giants fans and all of us live in the Los Angeles area where there is no pro football.
I will add that my father, since moving to SoCal and in his old age, is trying to become a Chargers fan too. Me, I don't need any other stinkin' football teams.
Go GIANTS!!!
We can talk about Joe Torre later...

Yeah I know, my 1991 Merlin cracked in two places in 1996. It had 40,000 miles on it. There are 100,000+ miles on the Pcad frame.
