Just letting you all know that I did my first century ride yesterday-101.75km.YIPPEE!
The only dampner on the whole day was,I cycled for about 1km. with a guy who did "loop the bay" two weeks ago and he did 250km. in one day(bugger).He was in his mid to late twenties and I'm 59 so that's not to bad.

I know the feeling. I rode from Tully to Cairns (140k) because it was there and I wanted to know if I could do it. I've since riden to Cooktown return in 15 days (860K)and this year will do my first 1000k tour Tully Ravenshoe Hughenden Charters towers Townsville Tully in June. :recum:Next year, Tully to Sydney. Yee Ha!! I'm 61 in October. (but that's metric of cause!):50:
